Outside Sales Representative

Northern VA and Montgomery County Areas

 

Position is responsible for consistent and profitable growth in sales, by high energy prospecting and maintaining new accounts. 5 years of commercial building related selling services. B2B experience is required. Individual must be able to demonstrate excellent selling, negotiation, communication and problem- solving skills in a fast- paced environment. This position is an Outside Sales position and requires daily travel.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Developing new business and creating a pipeline of potential contacts for custodial services
  • Manage and grow customer base to achieve monthly sales goals
  • Maintain existing client relationships by providing on-going service and support
  • Generate and build business relationships through networking events and industry contacts
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation on all clients and prospects through Salesforce
  • Prepare sales and marketing proposals and presentations

Requirements:

  • High school Diploma and Bachelor's Degree in Business Administraiton, Communications, Marketing or Equivalent
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proven customer service orientation and closing skills
  • Professional phone demeanor with demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility with sales strategy- cold calling, prospecting and networking
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel
  • Previous experience in property management
  • Experience in using CoStar

Director of Business Development                                                                            

Crofton, MD

 

Associated is seeking a qualified individual with over 5 years of experience in directing the business development activities of an organization and the capability to drive sales leads to further growth. Must be capable of developing business partnerships with various cliental from medium to large-sized accounts throughout the Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C. Metropolitan area. B2B experience is required. Individual must be able to demonstrate excellent selling, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment. This position requires travel.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing all strategic and operational marketing and sales activities.
  • Establish sales objectives through forecasting and analyzing sales trends.
  • Assist in creating annual sales quotas and gross-profit plans.
  • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Lead the overall sales and marketing functions of the business.
  • Plan, coordinate and implement business plans to penetrate new markets to attain company sales goals and profitability.
  • Develop new business and creating a pipeline of potential contacts for custodial services
  • Utilize Costar daily to assist in gathering new sales leads.
  • Assist sales team in managing and growing customer base to achieve monthly sales goals.
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation on all clients and prospects through Salesforce.
  • Assist Operations team, as needed, in coordination with start-up of new accounts and on-going accounts.
  • Prepare sales and marketing proposals and presentations.
  • Complete billing for active clients.
  • Conduct weekly sales meetings.
  • Submit daily agenda to the Vice President.
  • Recruit, interview and hire Account Executive based on criteria agreed upon by Senior Management.
  • Responsible for the performance, development, counseling, monitoring, appraising and disciplining of the Account Executives.
  • Conduct mentoring, perform ride along, and one-on-one reviews with Account Executives to build more effective communications, understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of Account Executive’s sales and activity performance.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending education workshops and reviewing professional publications.
  • Maintain existing client relationships by providing on-going service and support.
  • Generate and build business relationships through networking events and industry contacts.
  • Establish professional networks and participate in professional societies.
  • Attend professional association meetings/functions when instructed.
  • Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding sales teams’ performance.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes. Communicate and implement to the team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • High school Diploma and Bachelor's Degree in Business Administraiton, Communications, Marketing or Equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Sales Manager/Director of Business Development
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proven customer service orientation and closing skills
  • Professional phone communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility with sales strategies - cold calling, prospecting and networking
  • Excellent selling and negotiation skills
  • Proven track record of successfully bringing in new business
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads
  • Experience in working with senior management to align sales strategies and solutions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • B2B sales experience
  • Property Management or Commercial Facility Sales experience is preferred
